Core Cutter with Dolly and Hammer

Description

Ref. Standard: IS 2720 (PART XXIX) 1966 & BS 1377-9

Core Cutter of known volume is driven into the soil by a rammer. The core cutter is dug out, trimmed and the soil inside weighed and dried for moisture and density check.

VS 27201     Cylindrical core cutter made of steel, 100mm dia X 130mm long.

VS 27202     Steel dolly 25mm high and 100mm dia, fitted with a lip, to enable it to be located on top of the core-cutter.

VS 27203     Rammer with steel rod.
